Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is a TV presenter, recording artist and businesswoman. She received many accolades throughout her professional career. Additionally she has also been nominated for two Gawad Urian Awards as well as the eight PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis starred on several TV series, including Hiram kampanerang kuba (2005) Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw 2013. Mars Ravelos Dyesebel saw her portray the Komiks classic character Dyesebel. Her other roles include hosting the midday variety show It's Showtime from 2009-2020. Anne Curtis, born on 17 February 1985 in Australia and the Philippines is an actress television presenter and entrepreneur as well as a recording artist. The actress has received various awards throughout the span of her professional career. This includes two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards five PMPC Star Awards Television. Curtis has been nominated as well for eight PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards, and also for an award at the Gawad Urian Award. Curtis starred as Hiram (2004), Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) Green Rose (2011), and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). She portrayed in 2014 the iconic Komiks role of Dyesebel in the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel. Also, she has been the presenter on the popular noontime variety show It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis was born in the Philippines from Bolinao Pangasinan. Her father is an Australian Lawyer named James Ernest Curtis Smith. Her father was engaged to Ojales before 1982. The younger sister Jasmine is also an actress. From their father's perspective, they had a half-sister named Clare who died in 2007 of an illness of the heart at just four months old.
