Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985 New York City New York) has received acclaim for her ability to act across different genres ranging from historical dramas, thrillers and action films. Johansson is the daughter of an architect as well as a producer was raised as a child in New York City. Hunter was twin to their younger sisters. At the age of seven years old, her passion for acting was growing. Her first audition was for commercials. She joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after, and later was a student at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan for further training. At the age of eight old, she starred with Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway show. At the age of nine, she debuted in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson subsequently starred as a character in Just Cause (1995), but her first break came with Manny & Lo a coming of age drama about sisters who run away. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was a teenager with a deformity because of an accident earned an acclaim from critics. After that, in Ghost World 2001 (as the cynical teenage outcast Rebecca), Johansson gained the attention of a whole new generation. She is best known for being the character Nell Jones (on CBS' famous show NCIS Los Angeles). The award-winning actress was the part of the main cast. She has a vast experience as a actor on stage, in addition to appearing on the show. She is known for her outstanding performances in such plays as Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith entered the arena of entertainment at the age at a very early age. While she was still a young child, Smith became interested with acting. Smith was offered the first of her acting gigs when she was just 6. In a commercial on television Smith starred as Dannon Yogurt. Similar to many actors starting out, she chose to refine her art in the realm of theatre. Her work included various USA projects while making her debut on stage in the company of Wildflower. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory part of the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts'.
